Hi and Croeso.

We are a bunch of people who are looking to find some answers to the questions like:

Is God real? If God is real how ‘on earth’ do I make sense of that fact?

We think…

faith is a journey not a destination
everyone has something to contribute to community
we can all have a mystical experience of God
what we do is as important as what we believe
we all make mistakes

Barnone is the name of a local expression, a community of faith or ‘church’ that meets in a pub in Cardiff.

We hope to provide a space where people can talk freely and ask any question without feeling judged.

On the diary page you will find when we meet and how we meet, please do not hesitate to get in touch and chat about any part of Barnone. We are friends of Glenwood Church (amongst others) and we use the Bible as our point of reference.

Cheers

  1. Hi! I came across your website when I was searching for “pub church”. I live in San Diego, California and just wanted to learn more about your pub church/ ministry. I’m looking to reach out to other like-minded young people like myself and was hoping you could give me some information about how you went about starting your pub church, some of the things that made it successful, etc. You’re in Wales, obviously, and very far from me. But I was hoping that you tell me a little bit about your ministry there in Cardiff.

    Cheers,
    Shaun Keating
