DIARY DATES FOR EASTER 2012 ONWARDS

We’ll be meeting up a little more on Tuesday evenings / midweek this term.

First Sunday of the month will still always be a discussion of news themes (Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell) or iRated (stuff we’ve watched/listened to/read/ seen that particularly appreciated). But we’re having to vary the order of the other Sundays a little to allow for home hosts. Provisional dates are set out below. As usual, if there’s a 5th Sunday in a given month it’s a week break for us (except this month, as we’re a little out of sync from Easter).

April 22 – iRated/Dont Ask Dont Tell at the Flora (=stuff we’ve watched/listened to/read/ seen that particularly appreciated and discussion of news themes)

April 29 – Clangers at D&Ds (= Meal with Kids & afternoon activities around kids)

May 6 – iRated/DADT at the Flora

May 13 – Videodrome at S&Ks (= Watch Clip/ short video; discuss)

May 20 – Clangers at D&Ds

May 27 – Open Book at the Flora (= Read Bible Passage; discuss)

June 3 – iRated/DADT at the Flora

June 10 -Videodrome at S&Ks

June 17 -Clangers at D&Ds

June 24 -Open Book at the Flora

July: We’ll come up with details once we know holiday plans!

 

 

 

DIARY DATES FOR JAN 2012 TERM

We’ve made some changes to what/ how we do things this term…

So no formal midweek slots, though meeting up informally as much as ever…

Sundays will always be at a pub the first sunday of month and always be a discussion of news themes (Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell) or iRated (stuff we’ve watched/listened to/read/ seen that particularly appreciated). Then Sundays after that will be house, then pub, then house, and if there’s a 5th in a given month -week break. (January we’re a week behind on this as off anyway NY day). We’re still not settled on a Pub “Home” but current favourite is the Flora on Cathays terrace. Always starts at 7pm, except for Clangers (= Meal with Kids & afternoon activities around kids), which starts at 1pm.

22nd JAN    PUB: THE HEATH : Open Book (= Read Bible Passage; discuss)

12th FEB       S&K’s Home: Videodrome (This week is one anticipate may need to cancel if everyone away half term)
